Band of Brothers
Finally, I've finished watching Band of Brothers. Phew... The journey started with searching for the movie on a torrent site. After that, i took deep breath and decided to download the 6.83Gb file of the entire 10 episodes of Band of Brothers. It took me a grand total of 3 days much to my surprise :)
Then began the task to watch it. And hell was it a long journey - and a journey worth every second and minute i spend on it. Following the journey of the 101st airborne division, Easy Company and also my favourite - Richard Winters. Damian Lewis did fantastic job in portraying him. The way which he rose from the rank of a first lieutenant to a Major was a joy to watch. The way the men stood by each other from the training right from to Normady to the Battle of Bastogne was great. The war scenes were realistic and boy now when see someone playing counter strike, i would really feel the pain as i could imagine blood flowing from the guts of soldiers. Band of Brothers is certainly something you would not wanna miss even though some time has passed since it came out. For those who feel your pockets are deep enough, you can even get the blue ray dvd of it.
