Bintulu
When we reached Bintulu and i looked at a sign which says how far we've travelled, i almost dropped my jaw in amazement.
We've travelled 620km by bus from Kuching till now...Gosh...
Cut the crap, we spend the night in the church and tadah...its the next morning. In between also got a youth meeting lar. After breakfast, they brought us to the pasar there. Its not the normal pasar you go to. Its the pasar ornag Iban, or rather called the Tamu
Spotted this HUGE sting ray
Like carpet huh? haha

The tamu from afar
Jaga kebersihan Tamu kita
A bird's eye view of the inside...looks normal rite? wait till you see what they sell
They sell these...i aso dunno what to call them
And they sell these EEEWwW monster maggots
This woman is so damn brave to even hold these monstrous maggots...
They seem to be everywhere....i duno what they are..i shall call them monster maggots =)
They dont sell in KG's...they sell in ikats and biji's
The under used weighing machine
This orang asli brushed her teeth like no tomorrow with clothes detergent...
Jagung
After walking round the pasar and enough of giving them our weird stares, taking pictures like they're aliens from another world, we left the Tamu. While walking back to the car, we passed the great big sting ray again. However, this time its was a biology lesson albiet with bigger internal organs and the teacher never explains to us which part is which.
First, cut the skin
Slice it carefully
Some LOOONG ears which took myt attention for a moment
You see, it was so heavy that it needed two people to flip it round
Now, wash the sting ray
Then, chop of its fins?? i suppose
You can now see the gills
Next, remove the internal organs.... i have no idea which part is it.. Mr Ganesh, which part ar??
Now u can really see both side of the gills
Brutally sliced into different pieces
Take out more internal organs
You can carry all the internal organs like a Gucci handbag...any girls want? xD
Enough of the biology lesson. We went to the book store to get some stickers and some before heading back to the meeting hall. Then, it was time to say goodbye for me... YAY =)
I couldn't resist taking a picture of their kereta sewa...got all the weird names de..
Im glad to fly back to KL
I left Sarawak a week earlier with my mom and Edmund and boy was i glad to back at home. Overall, this Sarawak trip was good minus the bus trips. This trip really shows how blessed it is to be in the one body of Christ. The mingling and blending with the saints was truly enjoyable. Lets hope that the youth from Sarawak can come next year to West Malaysia. We welcome you with open arms.
Phew! With this, my Sarawak adventure comes to and end. I made 5 post in 4 hours.... Pretty amazing huh? =) Neway, got to go sleep adi.... Need to go church tomorrow.
