New
I guess thats the only word to describe the place i've been in for 2 months now. To me, everything's new here. The people, the culture, the language, the transportation, how things work and etc.... Everything is so NEW. When i first arrived, the food here was like alien dog food to me. Food like kampua, foochow food, kolo mee, sarawak laksa, and more.... I cant seem to find the usual food i can find over in KL. Then there is the missing mamak stalls. Did you know that Kuching got no mamak stalls?? The difficulty of adjusting to the time here is also understandable. The sun here rises an hour earlier and sets an hour earlier. My looking the the sky to agak agak the time cannot be applied over here as im like confused over the changes in the skies. There were times where the sun was all over my buttocks and i woke up only to find that it's 6 a.m in the morning.
Luckily for me, I've met kind people who were willing to help me over my way here. A million thanks to them. Friends are definately one of the most precious things in the world. Let me see, there are a few people whom i like to thank even though they dont read my blog. First for sure would be Mr Ivan Liew. He's my house mate over here in Kuching and he's seriously helped me out during the my first weeks here. Then, there is the people whom i hang out with almost everyday. Thanks Adin for sending me home everyday, Gary for bringing us kia kia in your car, gym sessions and of course Chiong Kit for bringing much laughter to all of us.

Okay enough of all these... i'm moving on with my life now... and the thing is i cant help but miss KL. I wanna go back and shop my heart out ( weird right? only girls suppose to do that..) but you've got to come here for a month or two, then you'll understand my plights. Another thing which is like weird for me is, I THINK I'VE SET A PERSONAL RECORD OF THE LONGEST TIME WITHOUT McD. In my two months here, i've just only eaten fast food once. ONCE. ONCE. A Big Mac this tuesday.
Okay enough for this post. leongmutu.blogspot.com will resume normal service to bring laughter albiet now from kuching and update if that there is extra time.
