Quotable Quotes

My first quotable quote was this :-

The heart has its reason that reason does not know -Voltaire

I was scouring the net for quotable quotes as i tried to inspire someone and so i'm here blogging about quotable quotes. I'm thinking of putting up a quotable quote section in my blog. Is that a good idea? suggestions welcomed.

Here's the "Quotable" Quotes i liked and found on the internet.

"It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, (protecting its sanity), covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But, it is never gone. "

Rose Kennedy

Love makes mutes of those who habitually speak most fluently.

Madeline De Scudery

Work is either fun or drudgery. It depends on your attitude. I like fun.

Celleen C.Barrett

If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right.

Henry Ford

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.

Martin Luther King ,JR

Where there is love there is life.

Mohandas K. Gandhi

Do you love me because I'm beautiful, or am I am beautiful because you love me?

Oscar Hammerstein, II

Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever remains to them?

Rose Kennedy

P.s: On request

The safest way to maintain is to improve.

Ben Hor Kah Jun

There are more quotes out there which would stimulate minds more. The few here are just the ones i like and with my lagging computer, it makes me lazy to post even a few more. Apologies.

My Story

Here's the bloody explaination...

First to clarify my stance - I'm obviously not on the side of people who has nothing better to do. I hope you get what i mean.

The story started with Mrs 'S" ( names are protected and withheld to protect myself ) pulling out her kid from the school due to the increase in price. However, the disgruntled Mrs 'S' decided to complain about the increase of school fees. She said that the school's increase was illegal and not justified. Therefore, she made big news and got a petition for parents to sign to represent all the parents. Its is however noted that she got less than 100 signatures. A parents meeting was then called with the the attendance of some less than 100 parents demanding some explainations and asking for a price decrease. Another note to savour - Some parents signed the petition without knowing what was it all about.

After some clarification, most of the parents left home happy with the results. Our Mrs 'S' and some maybe less than 8 parents were still unhappy and demanded that the school decrease the price. Therefore, they planned another "attack" secretly.

Therefore on the day of our Career Day, the few radical supporters came with the press to the school as knowned to most of us now that the video is out. So now you guys know why the career day was cancelled. An emergency meeting for the parents was called to solve this problem. As we can see from the video, Jenice Lee from the DAP came to show their support on this matter.

The press however was sent home because the our new General Manager,Mr Felix - who is a former lawyer - told them they have no permission to photograph school properties and can be sued if they appear anywhere without permission. Therefore the photos which appeared on the the chinese newspapers came out without stating nor showing any name. Did you know that the police was here?? This video however clearly shows the name of the school. I guess the school will do nothing about it - see my explaination down there.

Phew, this is a long story but i tried to shorten it to about 5 short paragraphs (Yay) but mostly helped by the video. It saved me lots of time and explainations.

Now to shut the mouth of people and keep their brains thinking normally, here's the FACTS you guys should know before you say a thing.

1) This is a private school. If you cannot afford to pay the fees,THEN FOR THE SAKE OF MANKIND, LEAVE.

2) The press conference was alleged to have been informed to the school earlier. Thats what you think - the letter of requesting a press conference was given on the day the came. So, how many days do you think MALAYSIANS need the time to process and approve?? You think if they have the permission we still will have a career day on the same day?? Thats why i say, fikir baru cakap, tapi jangan fikir dengan siku, guna otaklah.

3) The reporters were called to the school and some didn't even know what a private school is all about. Shame on them. Therefore they have no power to speak or write anything untrue.

4) The Mrs 'S' has two kids in the school. One of them was pulled out due to the increase but only leaving next year. Another stayed on and was withdrawned but the other school had no place the child. The kid was then re-enrolled in to the school. Eh, Mrs 'S', you muka so tebal izzit? Do so many bloody things already still wanna stay? Btw, WTF has the increase of school price got to do with you? It takes effect next year la k lady so not gonna mean u need to pay the increased fees. So whats all the fuss about? Time wasting only....

5) Then we have another bloody free person here. Ms Jenice Lee, from the DAP cawangan teratai, ampang(if i didn't mistaken) Why i want to say this? Let me ask you. Your Teratai, Ampang there no social problems for you to solve izzit? Do any of you guys see Badawi telling the Bush how to solve his social problems?? No right?? Then how come need to so Ke Po come here to so called speak for the people in Hulu Langat? If wanna gather votes for election, print your face big big onto 10000 leafets and promote yourself . Now when we vote for DAP as will have to think twice because DAP allows such narrow minded people to represent them. If like this i wonder how they want to win election....

6) Ok, now for the legality increase of 2K of our school, the last time the school increased their fees, 7K was the ceiling price. Then, our school only increased till 6.8K. The ceiling price was not reached yet. Now when another 2K is increased, of course reach the ceiling price and need to apply again la. If you have brains thats functioning properly, you would know that the school applied 1st before a letter was given out. Now, the approval is still pending but still justified. Why? Because the fees increase is for next year not NOW for bloody sake and anyone heard of the 6 months notice law?? This letter is given out as a notice - 6 months notice. Now the policy is clear to ALL parents - You think too expensive then for God's sake leave. No one point a gun to your head and say you need to study there.

7) Increase of 2k
- To build a multi-purpose hall
- To raise salary of teachers ( goverment aso increase what )
- To provide better quality teachers ( No $$ how to hire good teachers?) that why the teachers now not so enough quality) haha
The list goes on and on. No time to explain to some bloody hell people who don't understand the situation.

8) Seri Cempaka just increased their school fees by a cool 2k.How come DAP didn't go there and complain??

This is all i want to say for the moment. Now for another clarification - Mrs Mano

Now the students would put the blame of everything thats happening to the school to the principal. Its true in some way and not to most of them.

Here are a few examples i've encountered over the years :-

1) The school fees increase - MANO lah @#$%@^&

Again i say, guna otak untuk fikir bukan siku. This is a private school run by REAL Corp. not MRS MANO SDN BHD. Therefore the increase of fees got nothing to do with her.

2) No water in toilet - MANO lah @#$%@^&

You think the principal so free go pay bills for the school a? Pay bills is a small matter so the admin staff will be the 1 to blame if got no water in school but how sure can you be that the water pipe was just not distrupted by an accident at the loji air??

3) No electricity
4) No air-cond ( you want to have it but for free. You think everything in the world is free?)

This is just a small and short list. The list would reach hundreds if not thousands if i'm to state it all out.

Mrs Mano may be old, fussy, long winded, but in the end it's the for the benefit of you guys. She's just a misunderstud person in the school and i would say the most. So, next time if you want to complain about anything, USE YOUR BRAINS TO THINK 1st before you talk.

Comments and thoughts on both matters are welcome. Feel free to give a comment and i will reply them unless u ask me something blardy stupid and not worthy of me answering =). Thanks for reading =)

Ps : Left out a point

10) I happen to think the school will do nothing about this because who wants to give free publicity to attention seeking mungans like them? and maybe the school will thank them for giving the school free publicity.

Nail In The Fence

Ever felt angry? I'm sure all of us have experienced anger at some point. Anger is an inevitable human emotion which all of us go through. Most of us go through it everyday. Anger can be expressed in different ways. A person can express anger by lashing out or by sulking silently. It depends on how a person chooses to do so.

Anger can cause people to do terrible things and sometimes with devastating irreversible effects. The story below has always reminded me on how anger can cause pain to others as we tend to lose ourselves in the spur of the moment. Therefore, i normally choose to remain silent if i'm angry with someone or something, at least until i can calm down and think in the right frame of mind. Here's a story which i will like to share with you guys out there. Though most may have heard it, some may still not.

The story goes :-

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Nail in the fence
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there."

The little boy then understood how powerful his words were. He looked up at his father and said "I hope you can forgive me father for the holes I put in you."

"Of course I can," said the father.

The story struck me hard the first time i read it. It still lingers in my mind everytime i get mad. I hope it does the same to you.

Laughing

The way to laugh

Laughing seems to be a very normal thing to do for all of us. Just admit it - we all laugh everyday. Today i found myself doing something very weird. I laughed in front of my computer, for as long as i was looking at the screen. When i say laugh, i meant laughing real hard. I could feel my stomach cramp up and then i had to stop myself looking at the computer so i would not choke to death. Coming to think of it, i haven't been really laughing real hard for some time. I can't even remember the last time i laughed till i fell to the ground. And yeah i'm still sniggering as i'm writing this post. Laughing for people nowadays has become quite unmeaningful. Sometimes we laugh just to "ying cao" people. Just admit it. I personally admit sometimes i laugh to "ying cao" people. I'm no hypocrite telling people not to do it and then go do it myself.

Now, i think i got to thank Ben, klang hippo for introducing me to this blog for a laugh. Yes, it's the one and only http://www.tiuniasing.blogspot.com/. It's blog title "Bouncing Along In Life" seems no mean joke but just wait till you read his post. First i was just asked to read about the papaya farm story. So u know whats a papaya farm? No, its not the normal papaya farm where they grow papaya's on it so you can have papaya to eat as dessert.

No i'm not talking about this papaya farm

Go on to the blog to read more. It has 16 episodes and like wad Ben said - "Best Descriptive Essay". But beforewarned - its littered with profanities just like the URL itself. I urge people who cannot stand profanities to stay out of it. But seriously i think this blog can get someone out of depression just by reading it. Now i can see where they expression of "Laughter the best medicine comes" from. This probably explains why people pay him for advertisements in his blog. Now why i am promoting his blog around here for free? I think thats cause its my first advertisement. Just getting some practice. Haha.

To give you some facts about what i know after i read his blog :-

His name :- His name is his blog URL, or you can call him Uncle T**

Age :- My guess would be about 27-28?? He says he's not past 30.

Nationality :- Malaysian

Status :- Married, his wife name is Shino

Hobbies :- Playing basketball ,having some workout on bed, Blogging and making people laugh

CV :- Tech support for unknown company, State basketball player

Height :-Very tall

So far this is all i found out. Forgive me if i left out anything or maybe mistaken some facts.

This guy here has a talent for writing and man he can well place the profanities at all the right places to make people laugh till they drop. Just take a look at how he out his links and you know that he has a talent for profanities. Another interesting fact about him is that his wife reads his blog!! Damn pro! Can maintain the blog with such a name and still get his wife to cuddle him in bed. Maybe that's why he has over 100k views.

Over with this, im kinda pissed right now. I went downstairs just to find out that National TV is NOT showing Champions League this SEASON???? What The HECK!! How do people with no ASTRO like me watch football?? How am i going to watch MANCHESTER UNITED win the trophy this season?? DANG...... Actually this is the reason i'm still up and blogging now. Haha

Roooney's back and i don't get to see it. Dang.

And the post and pictures about the paintball trip will be posted if i ever get the pictures from Ms Loo.

Condolences

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes into Me, even if he should die, shall live;

John 11:25

My heartfelt condolences to the Chan, Won and Lee family members whose beloved members passed away last night. May God be with them all the time during this torrid time and become their comfort especially Matthew and John Chan, who lost their mother to an accident.

This incident reminds us again that time is short. To those who are not saved, again i say time is short. We do not know what will happen tomorrow. Therefore grasp your opportunity which is given to you now and come back to the Lord.

Amen

The Long Overdue Experiment

Wrote this so tat you guys would hav good memories of the experiment and do your Bio test tommorow. Here's the long overdue experiment :

WARNING:- DO NOT READ THIS AFTER YOU EAT OR IF YOU PLAN TO EAT AFTER THIS . DO NOT READ THIS WITH YOUR STOMACH FULL.

Aim :- To cut the mouse into as many parts as possible

Hypothesis :-The more parts the mouse is disected, the happier are those maniacs.

Variables :-
Manipulated :- The people who hold the scissors and knife.
Responding :- The number of parts the rat is cut into.
Controlled :- The total number of rat cut.

Materials and apparatus :- Surgical Knife, Vulcunized rubber gloves, Live rat, Choloroform, Scissors, Tray with wax on it

Safety precautions :- Please wear your gloves when your tearing up the rat like a beast and DO NOT CATCH THE MOUSE WITHOUT GLOVES AS IT IS NOT GOOD FOR HEALTH. (P.s :- You know who im talking about.)

Diagram arrangement, procedures and results :-

Look at the number of hands working on this rat

Can you identify the parts which seem to be scattered around??

A close up look at the inner parts of the rat. Can you spot the tail?? Looks like Teik Chi's lunch.

Yer!!! can see the liver and stomach!!

The criminal posing with his victim

Now even the girls are involved. This is a sick world.

Discussion :-
1 ) It's wonderful to be able to see Teik Chi eat "lou shu fan" for lunch tat day and tease him. Haha (Lunch was just after Bio period)
2) The experiment was fun as we had to catch the mice before experiment even started. The mice could feel the aura's of those maniacs coming. Charle Yang's the man!

Conclusion :- The hypothesis is accepted as those maniacs were happy and managed to gulp down their lunch as if nothing happened. The people seen in the pictures above are savages. Please beware.

(P.s :- Those not seen are even more dangerous.)
